Job Description: Managing and guiding the editorial staff in all day-to-day activities leading to publication, including overseeing the completion of tasks such as regular email dispatch, social media marketing management, website content maintenance, supervising proofreading and peer-review process to ensure it's done with high-quality results.
Expected to maintain the standards of all Journals in accordance with the current market trends. Must have the ability and experience in coining new Journals and writing original content.
Must be tech-savvy in working with and resolving issues with multiple email clients, MS Word and Excel.
Manager will be accountable for revenue generation of the Team in order for the good standing of the company.
Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Must have the ability to research new avenues in the field of publishing and implementation.

The manager is expected to report to higher management on all daily activities and team targets.

Organizing and ensuring completion of projects in reaching tight deadlines and revenue targets.
Proofreading and maintaining publishing standards for all Journals, Correcting manuscripts; Obtaining rights to use materials from other publications; Dealing with phone and email queries.
Responding to copyright queries from writers and other publishers in the first instance; Using your own specialist knowledge to contribute new ideas.
