Assistant Professor Emergency Medical Services Department (EMSD)/ 01 UR

Essential Qualification: i. A Medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.) ii. A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Emergency Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.

Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Emergency Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Emergency Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto

Assistant Professor Anaesthesiology/ 03 UR

Essential Qualification:i. A Medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.) ii. A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.

Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years as on closing date.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research originated as École de Médicine de Pondichérry established by the French Government in the year 1823. This medical school was converted into Dhanvantari Medical College at the time of de facto transfer of Pondicherry to Government of India.
