A Ph.D. degree is necessary for a faculty position at IT Mandi. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis recently or are close to completing their Ph.D. degree may also apply for the post of Assistant Professor Grade-ll

Assistant Professor (Grade I And Grade II): Preferred Areas: Mechanical Design: Computational Mechanics, Kinematics, Design of Machines, Mechatronics and Control including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics.
i. Thermo-FIuid: Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Turbulence and Compressible Flow, Microfluidics, Combustion, Thermal Systems Design and Analysis.
ii. Manufacturing: Advanced Machining, Conventional Machining Casting, Forming, Additive Manufacturing, Welding/Joining, Industrial Automation, Surface Engineering and Tribology.
