Position: Assistant Professor Grade-I & Grade-II, Associate Professor and Professor

A Ph.D. degree is necessary for a faculty position at IIT Mandi. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis recently may also apply for the post of Assistant Professor Grade-II.

Assistant professor (Grade-I & Grade-II): Preferred Areas:
(i) Structures: Structural Health Monitoring, Structural Reliability and Design, Bridge Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Fracture Mechanics, Steel Structures, Construction Materials and Management, Seismic Hazard Analysis, Building Physics and Dynamics of Structures, Computational Mechanics, Bridge Engineering.
(ii) Geotechnical: Rock Mechanics and Tunnelling, Ground Improvement and Geosynthetics, Environmental Geotechnics, Foundation Geotechnics, Theoretical/Computational Geotechnics, Transportation Geotechnics.
(iii) Transportation Engineering: Pavement, Material, Transport Infrastructure Design, Performance and Analysis of Transportation Systems.
(iv) Water Resources: Flood Management, Irrigation Water Management, Water Resources Management and Water Resources Systems, Sediment Transport, River Engineering, Fluvial and Channel Hydraulics, Hydraulic structures, Computational Hydraulics.
