Essential Qualification:
a) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Anaesthesia) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
b) i) For Medical : ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Biochemistry) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
ii) For Non-Medical : ESSENTIAL a. Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized/equivalent) viz. M.Sc. Clinical Biochemistry/Medical Biochemistry. b. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/ Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. Degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
c) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). . A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Otolaryngology) of an Indian University/ Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
d) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Surgery) of an Indian University/ Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
e) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). A post graduate qualification i.e. DM (Haematology) or MD (Pathology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience:
a) 03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD.
b) i) 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the concerned / allied subject of Specialty after obtaining the degree of MD.
ii) 03 years teaching and / or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree.
c) 03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS.
d) 03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS.
e) 03 years teaching/ training and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD including 01 year in the Specialty concerned. OR 01 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidate possessing the 3 years recognized of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Age Limit: The age limit is upto 50 years on the last date of receipt of application.
