Objective The Centre-of-Excellence for Data Science is a central facility in the institute for state-of-theart teaching, consultancy and research in the area of data science. Data science is one of the thrust areas identified by MHRD under the Scheme for Transformational and Advanced Research in Sciences (STARS) for promoting translational, India-centric research in Sciences. The central facility works in synchronization with the MHRD’s key objectives as defined in STARS. 

Description We seek outstanding candidates with a strong track record of research to strengthen and complement our current academic and research program. We are interested broadly in all areas of data science, including, but not limited to: Machine Learning, Statistical Methods and Design of Experiments, Information Science, Network Science, Computer Vision and Image Processing, Distributed Networks, Data Handling Ethics, Data Science Tools.
