CIPET: IPT-Chennai invites applications from eligible candidates for contractual engagement in the below-mentioned positions:


No.of Posts: Polymer Science -01 no and Plastic Technology – 02 nos. 

Pay Scale: Rs.35,000/- to Rs. 40,000/-pm

Eligibility Criteria: (Educational qualification and experience) Minimum Qualifications: (A) Assistant Professor (Plastic Technology) Full time First Class BE/B Tech and ME/M Tech in relevant discipline from a recognized University. (B) Assistant Professor (Polymer Science)

 (i) Full time Master’s Degree with good academic record with First Class or an equivalent CGPA in the relevant discipline from Indian Universities. (ii) Besides fulfilling the qualification, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. (iii) Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointments of Assistant Professors or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges /Institutions.

Experience for (A) and (B): At least 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline.
