Department of Commerce

1. Assistant Professor/02 Post (UR-01, SC-01)

Qualification:

1. National Eligibility Test (NET) shall be compulsory for appointment at the entry level of Assistant Professor, subject to the exemptions to the degree of Ph.D. in respect of those persons obtaining the award through a process of registration, coursework and external evaluation, as have been laid down by the UGC through its regulations, and so adopted by the State Government vide letter no. 7/66-2003 C IV(3) dated 17.07.2009.

2. The minimum requirements of a good academic record, 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the master’s level.

3. A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) will be required at the Master’s level for those recruited as teachers at any level from industries and research institutions and at the entry level of Assistant Professor, Assistant Librarians, Assistant Directors of Physical Education and Sports.

4. A relaxation of 5% (52.25% in place of 55%) may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in 7 point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without

including any grace mark procedures.

5. Relevant grade which is regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed by a recognized University shall also be considered eligible.

Department of Management Studies

2. Assistant Professor/02 Post (SC-01, BC(A)-01)

Qualification:

i. Essential:

1. First Class Masters Degree in Business Management/Administration/in a relevant management related discipline or first Class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC;

2. First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.

3. A relaxation of 5% (52.25% in place of 55%) may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences

3. Assistant Professor/02 Post (UR)

Specialization: Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmacology

Qualification:

(i) Essential:

1. A basic degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm.).

2. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.

3. First Class Master’s Degree in Pharmacy.

(ii) Desirable:

1. Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; and

2. Papers presented at Conferences and / or published in refereed journals.

Department of Physiotherapy

4. Assistant Professor/02 Post (UR)

Qualification:

i) Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (B.P.T. / B.P.Th./B.Th.P),Masters in Physiotherapy (M.P.T. / M.P.Th./M.Th.P. / M.Sc. P.T.) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from recognized University.

Department of Engineering & Technology

5. Assistant Professor/01 Post (UR)

Specialization: Computer Sciences Engineering

Qualification:

i Essential: First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech);

ii. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable :

1. Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization;

2. Papers presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years,

Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (fee of Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates of Haryana),the women candidates of Haryana domicile are to pay 50% of the requisite fee. The PWD/ESM candidates are exempted from payment of requisite fee.
