Job Description

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the School of Architectures in the Higher Education Department, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. 

1. Position: Assistant Professor

2. No of Post: 04

3. Salary: (15600-39100+AGP 6000)

4. Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Master's Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 60% marks at either level and one year of relevant professional experience.


1. Position: Assistant Professor (Structural Engineering)

2. No of Post: 02

3. Salary: (15600-39100+AGP 6000)

4. Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering and Master's degree in Structural Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks at either level and one-year relevant professional experience. 

1. Position: Assistant Professor (Fine Arts)

2. No of Post: 02

3. Salary: (15600-39100+AGP 6000)

4. Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's degree level, in the relevant subject, or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University.

Age Limit: 40 - 43 Years
