iv. Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching or
research in related field.

with Disabilities.

Speech &
Hearing)

Essential:
i. Post Graduate Degree (Full time course) in
Speech and Hearing (Recognized by RCI).
ii. Registration with RCI.
iii. Minimum 5 years of experience in
teaching/research in field of
rehabilitation.
Desirable:
i. Ph.D. in related field of rehabilitation of
Persons with Disabilities.

Professor
(Clinical
Psychology)

i. M.Phil. in Clinical or Rehabilitation
Psychology (Full time course) recognised by
RCI.

(Special
Education)

i. Master Degree with M.Ed. (Special
Education.) (Full time course) in any category
recognised by RCI.
ii. Registration with RCI.
iii. Minimum 5 years of experience in
teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation.

i. Ph. D. in related field of rehabilitation
of Persons with Disabilities.
5. Lecturer
(Physiotherapy)

Pay Scale: Rs.50,000/-
Essential:
i. Master’s in Physiotherapy with specialization
in Orthopaedics / Neurology / Paediatrics
/Dev. Disability from a recognized Institute
(Full Time).
ii. Minimum 3 years of experience in
teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation.
Desirable:
i. Possessing any RCI recognised qualification.
6. Lecturer
(Occupational
Therapy)
(Consultant) /1 Post
Pay Scale : Rs.50,000/-
Essential:
i. Master’s in Occupational Therapy with
specialization in Orthopaedics/ Paediatrics /
Neurology/ Developmental Disorder/ Mental
Health / Rehabilitation from a recognized
Institute (Full Time).
ii. Minimum 3 years of experience in
teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation.
Desirable:
i. Possessing any RCI recognised qualification.
7. Administrative
Officer
(Consultant) /1
Pay Scale : Rs.40,000/-
Essential:
i. Post Graduate Degree /MBA from recognized
University.
ii. Minimum 5 years of experience in
establishment/admin. matters in any Govt.
Organisation/ Autonomous Bodies / Public
Sector Undertaking/Semi Government / Quasi
Government.
Application fee of Rs. 500/- for each post in the mode of Demand Draft made in
favour of Director, NIEPMD, payable at Chennai need to be enclosed. SC/ST/PwD
are exempted from payment of application fee.
