Key Responsibilities / Duties :
- Achieve business goals through delivery of innovative IT solutions
- Collaborate with business partners to develop and deliver a multiyear capabilities based portfolio driven by business priority and client benefits
- Initiate and grow strong relationships with business leads
- Demonstrate success in delivering robust Distribution solutions, preferably CRM Salesforce, Digital Web and Mobile, Marketing Automation, Client Data Management, etc.
- Contribute deep knowledge in customer focused Distribution technology
- Assume a strategic role introducing new strategies and technologies
- Utilize research and industry connections and experience and understanding of FinTech trends to assist with building, funding and acquiring capabilities for Invesco
- Manage, mentor, and coach direct reports by establishing goals and objectives
- Demonstrate experience as a team manager utilizing an iterative, Agile, Minimal Viable Product (MVP) approach to product development and delivery
- Grow, develop and promote communication, skillsets, and productivity to achieve high performing teams
- Oversee operations across geographically diverse locations understanding business differences, legal and regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances
- Manage within a global engagement model to optimize local value for Asia Pac while collaborating across regions toward enterprise solutions.
Work Experience / Knowledge :
- 5+ years leading teams preferably with experience in Financial Services and Asset Management
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technology focused discipline or commensurate relevant work experience with examples of self-driven further learning preferable.
Education and Experience Required :
- Should be skilled and experienced in leading organizations through strategic changes and getting positive results
- Should have proven track record successfully managing teams at a consulting and leadership level to drive business improvements
- Experience leading Agile teams focused on MVP delivery
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
- Able to work in a global, multicultural environment
- Structured, disciplined approach to work, with attention to detail
- Disciplined time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on more than one initiative at a time
