ICRISAT seeks applications from dynamic Indian Nationals for the position of ‘Associate -Purchase and Stores’. The incumbent will be based at ICRISAT Headquarters in Patancheru, Telangana State, India.
Responsibilities: Adhering to the specification of the Purchase and Stores manual, Follow the instructions and safety rules at work,Receive the goods from suppliers and check whether they meet the requirements mentioned in the purchase order.
To check all incoming material against pre-specified quality control parameters, and to reject material if the parameters are not met,After acceptance of material issuing goods receipt notes (GRN) Issue of materials to related departments,Ensure that the materials are stored safely in their appropriate locations,Make sure that the stores area and materials kept are clean and tidy.Keep a record of receipt and issue of goods,Issue materials according to the requirements,Ensure that materials are checked properly and coded correctly (Physically and In system) at the time of issue.To issue the materials on authorized requisitions and ensure that the issue takes place promptly without undue delays,FIFO/FEFO inventory procedures,Maintaining minimum stock levels of all materials, Preparing request for purchase for stock replenishment,Making entry of RFPs in data set, floating quote requests and preparing of purchase orders in ERP;Maintaining all relevant files of store according to standard filing system,Coordination with user departments,Report generations,Carry out physical verification of stocks on a regular basis.Stock audit reconciliationsTo carry out tasks assigned by the supervisors
Requirements: Candidate should be Commerce graduate with a minimum 2 years’ experience in Purchase / Stores activities. Also must have good MS Office and communication skills.
