BMC Software is looking for a Qualified (L1/L2 Level) Remedy Developer with following skill set:

Position Description

This position will work very closely with:

BMC Helix Release Team.
BMC Helix Support Teams - Operations, Database, Networking, Security and Wintel.
BMC Helix Customers - To gather requirements, Fix UAT issues, Cutover.

Key Primary Responsibilities

Handling of all BMC Helix Releases/Upgrades, migrations as a part of Release Team.
Fixing the UAT issues minimum MTR to adhere the release schedule.
Coordinate with customers to gather requirement before starting any release, design & develop the plan & execution of plan.
Completing Upgrade POCs to finalize the process required.
Automate the Release Task/Activities to reduce overall timeframe.
Troubleshooting & Fixing all Issues identified during releases.
Coordinate with Helix Support Teams including Operations, Database, Networking, Security, and Wintel.

Secondary Responsibilities

Handling of Remedy System to manage the workflow of Change Requests raised for various releases.
Building & Provisioning BMC Helix Systems used throughout the Release Time.
Coordinate with Product Teams to get the quick resolution of issues.
Participate in Internal Team Review meetings.

Position Requirements

Exposure of BMC Helix Release/Migration Activities is preferable.
Expertise in ARS Development using ARS Forms & ARS objects - Active Links, Filters, Escalation, Active Link Guide, Filter Guides, Menus, Web Services, Applications.
Very Good Exposure of Remedy Integrations using latest version of Remedy APIs and ARS workflow (AR 7.6.04, AR 8.x and AR 9.x) e.g. Integration with SRM, Incident, Change, Work Order and CMDB Module.
Working Knowledge of SRM, ITSM, CMDB & Remedy Architect. ITIL v3 certification is preferable.
Working Knowledge of Analytics & Dashboards.
Working knowledge of Mobility or Next Gen.
Working knowledge of Databases e.g. SQL/Oracle.
Able to design & document the requirements comprehensively to execute the Release Project Plans.
Ability to automate complex requirements using scripting. Very good troubleshooting skills to debug the scripts - DOS Batch, Power Shell, Perl, Python, Unix Shell script and Java Scripts.
Ability to work with significant Deadlines.
Hard Working, dedicated & effective communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.

This position is a part of BMC Helix Release Model. This will include weekends during releases/cutover activities and after hour work as needed.
