Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following positions on a contractual basis in Agricultural Development and Rural Transformation Centre in the Institute for Social and Economic Change, Nagarabhavi, Bengaluru.

Eligibility Criteria for the Post of Associate Professor

Consolidated Emoluments : Rs.1,31,400/- p.m. (approximately)

i. Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics. ii. Master's degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics with 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade. iii. A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research in a contractual/regular faculty position of which not less than 5 years as a regular Assistant Professor at the University/ College/National level institution, excluding the period of Ph.D. research. iv.Contribution to educational innovations, design of new curriculum and courses, and technology-mediated teaching-learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. v. A minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) score of 200 during the assessment period of any three specified calendar years in the immediately preceding six calendar years (January 1 to December 31) based on the Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in its regulations approved by ISEC (to be filled in the attached Excel sheet and submitted soft copy).

Desirable (with supporting documents) i. Expertise in working on impact evaluation of programs. ii. Good at data analysis using STATA/SPSS/GAMS/SAS iii.Good knowledge of Econometric techniques iv.Very good knowledge of English
