Associate Professor / Professor Business Communication job opportunities in Indian Institute of Forest Management purely on contract basis

Qualifications & Experience for faculty positions:
(a) Minimum qualification for all faculty positions: Should have Ph.D with first class or
equivalent (in terms of grades etc.) at the preceding degree or equivalent in the
appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and also a good flair in
research endeavors are required for all the positions.
In Addition, for:
(i) Associate Professor: Should have a minimum of six years of
Teaching/ Industry/Research experience, of which at least three years’ experience
should be at the level of Assistant Professors, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design
Engineer.
(ii) Professor: Should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years
should be at the level of Associate Professor
(b) Preferred specialization for all positions: Candidates having experience in their broad
faculty areas and with a focus on management of natural resources namely: Business Communication
Ph.D in English with specialization in managerial communication / corporate communication / Business
Communication. Requisite experience would include proven record of conducting corporate training
programmes in business communication / corporate communicate / soft skills etc.
Should have excellent communication skills in English and familiarity with case method teaching.
Financial Management
Ph.D. In Finance with specialization in Financial Inclusion / Banking / Sustainable Finance / Environmental
Finance / Impact Investing
Should have excellent communication skills in English and familiarity with case method teaching.
Environmental Management : Ph.D.In Environmental Management / Energy Management / Environmental Sustainability with proven
expertise in areas such as energy audits/energy management/ life cycle assessment/ Sustainability
Reporting
Should have excellent communication skills in English and familiarity with case method teaching.
All qualifications must be from UGC recognized University/Deemed University or AICTE approved
autonomous Institutions (wherever applicable). The Courses offered by autonomous institutions should
be equivalent to the relevant courses approved /recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Proof of equivalence to 1st Class should be provided in case of all degrees.
Pay Scale/Compensation:
(i) Associate Professor: Pay Band: PB-4- Rs.37400-67000 plus Academic Grade Pay
(AGP) of Rs.9500/- per month. Minimum pay in the Pay Band to be fixed at Rs.42800
(ii) Professor: Pay Band: PB-4 (Rs.37400-67000) plus AGP of Rs.10500/- p.m. Minimum
pay in the Pay Band to be fixed at Rs.48000/-.
Selection Process: Irrespective of the position applied for, based on the number and quality
of applications received, the Institute shall short-list the candidates for the appropriate faculty
positions based on the qualifications, experience and other credentials of the candidates, as may
be decided by the Institute. Shortlisting criteria may be set higher than the minimum advertised
and may set different criteria for different specializations The Institute also reserves the right to
modify the selection process at any point of time.
