Associate Professor / Professor recruitment in Indian Institute of Forest Management on direct recruitment

Qualifications & Experience for faculty positions:
Minimum qualification for all faculty positions: Should have Ph.D with first class or
equivalent in the relevant field (in terms of grades etc.) at the preceding degree or
equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and also
a good flair in research endeavors are required for all the positions.
All qualifications must be from UGC recognized University/Deemed University or AICTE
approved autonomous Institutions (wherever applicable).
The Courses offered by
autonomous institutions should be equivalent to the relevant courses approved
/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Proof of equivalence to Ist Class
should be provided in case of all degrees.
In Addition, for: -
a) Associate Professors: Should have a minimum of six years of
Teaching/ Industry/Research experience, of which at least three years’
experience should be at the level of Assistant Professors, Senior Scientific
Officer/Senior Design Engineer
b) Professor: Should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience of which at least 4
years should be at the level of Associate Professor
Pay Scale (6th CPC Payscales)/Compensation:
(i) Associate Professor: Pay Band: PB-4- Rs.37400-67000 plus Academic Grade
Pay (AGP) of Rs.9500/- per month. Minimum pay in the Pay Band to be fixed at
Rs.42800
(ii) Professor: Pay Band: PB-4 (Rs.37400-67000) plus AGP of Rs.10500/- p.m.
Minimum pay in the Pay Band to be fixed at Rs.48000/-.
