Associate Professors  job recruitment in Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) on contract basis

No. of Post  :  01 (Mumbai)

Qualification :  Good academic record with a Ph.D. in Management, Psychology, Anthropology, Economics, Law, Sociology and active engagement in research with publications record. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with consistent engagement in basic and applied research. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided research students. A minimum score of 300 points as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS),set out in the UGC Regulation 2010 in Appendix III.

Preference will be given to candidates with - (i) exposure to Organization Development and Change management activities in organisations (ii) experience in organising and conducting Management Development Programmes (iii) Experience in partnering with industry and other professional bodies for research funding and grants.

Remunerations of teaching positions will be as per 6 CPC (UGC norms).
