Associate Professors job opportunities in Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University

Aquaculture/4 Post

Qualification : (a) Basic degree in Fisheries Science with PhD in relevant subject from a State   Agricultural University system with good academic record;

(b) M.F.Sc., or equivalent Master Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed);

(c) A minimum of eight years of experience of Teaching / Research / Extension in  an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as research or policy papers in Peer Reviewed Journals / Books.

Fisheries Biotechnology/01 Post

Qualification : 

(a) Basic degree in Fisheries Science with PhD in relevant subject from a State   Agricultural University system with good academic record;

Qualification :

(a) Qualifications as prescribed for Assistant Professor  as stated above is applicable and Ph.D. or equivalent, in appropriate discipline. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. 

(b) Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post Ph.D. experience is desirable.

Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000

Fee : Registration Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) / Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) in the case of SC/ST candidates by crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Finance Officer, Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam”
