Job Description

Applications are invited for online interview from the citizens of India for filling up Associate Project Engineer position for the SERB (DST) sponsored research project entitled, “An examination on use of the quarter point elements for the accurate determination of notch stress intensity factors” undertaken in the Mechanical Engineering Department of IIT Guwahati. The position is contractual position for a maximum period of 11 months from the date of appointment. 

Number of Vacancies : One (01) 

Pay : Rs. 38,000 per month +16% HRA +Rs.1250 (Medical)

Qualification: Master`s degree in Engineering / Design Or Bachelor`s degree in Engineering / Design + 3 years’ experience. 

Preference will be given to the candidates those who have good understanding of (a) fracture and fatigue of cracks and notches in metallic engineering components and (b) finite element analysis of cracked and notched metallic engineering components.
