Job Description

Job Scope/ Summary

Job Description

Evaluate, test systems and software to verify programs function according to specifications and standards

Essential Functions

Contribute to establishment of standards and procedures for systems testing
Create test plans, test cases test data and test systems to ensure compliance to specifications and documentation
Identify program variances from objectives and suggests modifications to conform
I dentify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in system functions, outputs, online screens and content

C ollaborate closely with other team members and departments

Experience/Education

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree in a computer or equivalent work experience in Information Systems analysis or support

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Recommended For Position

1 year experience as a software tester or similar role
Knowledge of MS Office Suites and/or software applications related to job functions
Knowledge of browser and mobile testing

Some knowledge of information systems and technology, computer hardware/software and operating systems
Ability to develop and work according to structured plans within specified deadlines and give proper attention to details
Ability to embrace new concepts in information systems methodology and technology
A bility to communicate effectively
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Special Requirements

Ability to work overtime as required, might include late nights or weekends
