Better Requires process discipline and simplification
As a critical member of our Technology Operations team, you will be accountable for working with application development and operational teams to design and implement standards and processes. You will be accountable for the deployment and maintenance of database clusters that will enable and enhance software products and systems. Also, you will recommend assisting in planning and performing database upgrades and migrations. You will be liable to work with new and existing database systems, both internally and in the future AWS cloud. You will work with the Operations team as well as service providers in a geographically distributed structure. With your gained experience you will provide coaching to junior associates and work on complex projects.
For this role, you will have a bachelor’s degree with four to six years of disciplined experience in Database Administration. You will have experience in deploying and maintaining PostgreSQL. Along with this, you will have sound knowledge of AWS cloud operation management and perform debugging, tunning, and performance enhancement of the PostgreSQL platform. As a benefit, you should have expertise in database upgrades and migrations. You will need strong communication skills with the ability to interact with the partners globally.
