Business Description:
- The position is within the UK Regulatory team based in Mumbai.
- The group is a service-orientated business comprised of specialised individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering financial information to our regulators.
- The group is also dedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls.
- The regulatory finance department is a high profile function, providing financial information to the Prudential Regulation Authority ("PRA"),Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") and the Bank of England.
Core responsibilities of the Group:
- Support the UK Reg strategy across Data impacting both Financial and Capital reporting
- Own the data sourcing road map and delivery across multiple programs
- Elimination of user tools and adjustments with management of metrics and success criteria
- Support end to end automation where applicable by identifying opportunities
- Support data sourcing initiatives strategic programs and consumption across several platforms
- Act as a point person supporting U.K. Reg/ U.K Reg Change/ Projects/ Tech in their data sourcing deliveries
- Work on resolving current issues to ensure that controls and reporting in the current infrastructure are strengthened.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Role:
- Own the data quality issues across both current and strategic deliveries
- Analyse the issues and articulate a clear remediation path
- Ensure issues are prioritised in the UK Reg BOW
- Support remediation of current issues e.g. Critical validations , Adjustments etc and as a result improving the current control framework
- Manage traceability and status across existing and new data sources
- Define a Front to Back control framework for Strategic deliveries
- Ensure these are aligned with both the Operating Model and Controls Leads for each product/ source on boarded including adjustments and validations
- Work across programs to ensure consistency of proposals and implementation
- Support automation efforts for financial reporting aligned with the end state strategy.
