Assistant Professor Neurology /Senior ENT Surgeon job vacancies in Goa Public Service Commission (Goa PSC)

I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE

Assistant Professor in Neurology / 2 posts

Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).

NOTE: For candidate with Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) degree of three years duration, no experience is required. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 11)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

II. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES

Senior ENT Surgeon/ 1 post

Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree/diploma qualifications in the speciality concerned. (iii) 3 years work in a responsible position connected with the speciality after post graduation in case of post graduate degree holders and 5 years work after post graduate diploma in a responsible position connected with speciality in the case of post graduate diploma holders. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 11)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Junior Radiologist / 1 post

Qualifications: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years

III. GOA COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE

Associate Professor in Architecture / 3 posts (1 resvd for OBC)

Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent, either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. (ii) Ph. D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. (iii) Minimum of 5 years experience in Teaching/Research Industry.

NOTE: In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 5 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Post Ph.D publications and shall have guided Ph. D students. (ii) 2 years of post Ph. D experience in teaching/Research/Industry. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 37,400-67,000+9,000/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 13)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

IV. DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION

5. Assistant Professor in Commerce in Government College/ 1 post

Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree),Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

V. SECRETARIAT

Technical Officer in Administrative Reforms Department/ 1 post [resvd for PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped)]

Educational & Other Qualifications: (i) Degree of a recognized University or its equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Successful completion of the Basic Management Service Course of the Institute of Secretariat Training of Management or an equivalent training in any other recognized Institution. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 7)
