This position will be reporting to Zonal Sales Manager – West & South and will be accountable for the
following objectives at given work area:
Will be responsible and accountable for sales in Construction System comprising of
Waterproofing, Repairs, Sealants & Adhesive, Grout range of products allocated in Chennai and
Increasing market awareness of the company & the brand in the given area and develop good
relations with key customers.
Generate of sales enquiry and Prepare order specific sales plans, as required.
To submit proposals and develop product specifications & vendor approval for the company,
targeting architects/ consultants, engineers, clients, EPCC contractors, developers and public
To provide technical support for clients to facilitate the sales whenever required
To prepare, submit techno-commercial offers to the clients, negotiate and secured orders
Early Vendor Development and Increase Applicator Network as per Co’s policy
Handle the current business and target new customers & segments to generate new business
and achieve sales, collection and profitability targets in the assigned territory
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
Maintain pricing parameters and margin control
Recommend/Implement actions required to improve system performance.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
B.E. / Diploma in Civil / Chemical Engg. or B.Sc.
Minimum years of experience 5 - 8 years of relevant Experience in Project Sales
Nature of experience
He should have worked in the sales department of
Construction Chemicals; Waterproofing & Repairs,
Grouts, Sealants & Adhesive based company, and
construction based Industry and good exposure to
projects / institutional sales.
