Responsibilities: Capacity increase, cost settlement & optimization, release of PO & poam .. Spares parts follow up, improving vendor capability ETC.. Vertical Responsibilities: He is responsible for the Cost working for the components, Settlement of Cost with Vendors (negotiations). Release of PO & Purchase order Amendment. Creation of Capacity based on Management Guide lines well in advance to meet the target demand. He should work closely with vendors to improve the vendor capabilities of PQCD.
Horizontal Responsibilities: He has to interact with CD, Engg, R & D for getting clearance for VAVE, design change to be discussed before implementation.
