The Automation Engineer be part of Financial Crime Technology Test Team and will be accountable for the ongoing development of performance test assets by adopting best performance test and engineering practice and innovative approach in experimenting with emerging Monitoring and analytics tools and technologies. The Financial Crimes Portfolio team delivers technology-enabled capability underpinning the prevention, detection and response to Financial Crimes for the Group.

- Strong experience into Automation tester
- Should have 5 to 9 years of experience into Automation. Relevant experience of 4+ Years
- Sound technical understanding of Functional Automation, Performance Engineering, testing and analytics.
- Experience in Performance test / Automation tools and frameworks is a necessity. This includes proficiency in industry leading test tools (e.g. Performance Centre, J Meter, Tosca, QTP/UFT, Selenium, ARD)
- Demonstrable working experience in C# /or Java/any scripting Language, test automation frameworks, Oracle, SQL Server, App Dynamics, Splunk and Performance Centre.
- High-level understanding of Client-Server Architecture including load balancers and firewalls in an enterprise infrastructure
- Tertiary education in IT – i.e. computer science / engineering degree
- Experience in Automation tools Lean FT
- Experience in Java, Python or .Net Coding (Desirable)
- Demonstrable understanding and/or working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI),Continuous Delivery (CD) and DevOps (Desirable)
- Experience in developing Automation Frameworks using Java (Desirable)
Roles And Responsibilities-
- Perform Static Test reviews of the Business Requirements/ User Stories documents and develop test conditions and build automated test cases for phase level testing using appropriate tools and techniques
- Design, implement and maintain Functional /Non-Functional Automated test assets to ensure desired level of quality and test coverage.
- Performance assessment for any change and application performance monitoring solution for resilience of core systems.
- Collaborate closely within your scrum team to drive testability in solution design and promote best test engineering practices in the development process
- Establish traceability and coverage through effective mapping of test cases & scripts to acceptance criteria as defined in user story
- Advise and apply best test engineering practice, and supporting tools and technologies to specific features and projects
