Automation Test Engineer-Python jobs in Mumbai at HERE Technologies

What's the role?

The Test Automation Engineer should be comfortable working with local and remote development teams, capable of analyzing defects to narrow down the fault and be motivated to automate quality assurance in all phases of the development process. We are seeking a self-motivated, curious and team-oriented individual who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and manually test if that is what the quality bar demands.

As a Team Member You Will

Work with product owners, designers and developers to translate requirements and wireframes into acceptance criteria, test plans and test cases
Create test automation to be used in CI/CD
Plan, execute (manual and automated) and report on integration and system tests
Verify, plan and document releases
Collaborate with other engineering and testing teams across the company
Contribute to product support & troubleshooting

Who are you?

2+ years of experience in quality assurance or test automation role performing automated and manual test execution
2+ years of experience writing automated and manual test plans and test cases
1+ years of Python
Excellent knowledge of QA processes and testing fundamentals
Experience with CI/CD systems
A strong work ethic and sense of accountability
Calm, logical troubleshooting skills
Effective communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical issues
Affinity for working on an agile team
Computer Science or equivalent technical degree or relevant work experience
