Hiring for AWS Infrastructure Specialist

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of key AWS services like EC2, S3 etc
Proven knowledge of AWS platform and tools
Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud infrastructure
Experience provisioning and spinning up AWS Clusters
Experience to build scalable production systems using load balancers etc
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Certification on AWS architecture desirable (not mandatory)

Roles and responsibilities:

Understand and document the technical requirements of the product.
Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create a bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3 etc.) and tools
Design and own the AWS network architecture
Design the HA / DR strategies
Set up process, services and tools around cloud
Oversee build and deployment strategy and execution to the deployment environments
Validate the environment to meet all security and compliance controls
Ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting tools are in place for early warnings regarding infra malfunctions
Able to set up and maintain a CI/CD pipeline for deployments

Perform responsibilities of a Build Master like

Create branches
DB backups
Merge cards
Maintain branches
Hotfixes into release candidates.
Maintain infrastructure (create/update/delete/backups)
Resolve/support dev queries regarding infra

Educational qualifications:
BE (Computer Science/IT)
AWS Cloud Architect certification (desirable, not mandatory)
Work Experience:
Build and Release experience
Dev-Ops background
Expert with GIT (Bitbucket) for version control of code assets
Cloud infrastructure design and implementation expertise
Experience in years: 3 years desired
