Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Recent experience of implementing IONs IT2 Treasury Management System, or another TMS, as a Functional Consultant.
• Treasury Management System implementation, design and configuration knowledge

• Ability to drive business process changes - challenging current business practices, working with key business process personnel.
• Experience with adapting existing systems to new businesses and strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to self-manage and regularly prioritize and manage activities across multiple workstreams.
• Strong academic background – excellent degree from a top tier university is required in a subject that demonstrates the need for logical thinking, precise understanding, and clear articulation.

Key Responsibilities      

Functional Consultant

Accountable for Trafigura’s deliverables to implement the IT2 product in partnership with ION. Including…

• Ensuring scope remains focused on requirements for the initial rollout.

• Review and challenge all requirements and specifications including:
• Functional Requirements
• Application functions
• Reporting functions
• Security requirements
• Operational activities
• Application Interfaces
• SLA requirements
• Networking
• Audit requirements
• Where required, administering the configuration of ION IT2.
• Documenting the implementation, configuration and preparing a knowledge base for IT2.

Working Relationships with:

• Business stakeholders and key users
• ION IT2’s project team
• Architects, developers, project managers and business analysts
• Testing and training teams

• Good communicator, engaging and able to work with offshore teams across various time zones.
