StoryXpress jobs - Back end Developer

• We are looking for Rockstar Backend developers to help us build a Full Stack Video Platform.
• Skills: Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, MySQL, MongoDB, Git

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and ship features from end-to-end. We spend a lot of time thinking through how to build new features, but the goal is always for the implementation to be maintainable, not for it to be 'pure' 
• Develop code to enable communication with APIs, databases, and other external sources 
• Work with our team to engineer new growth initiatives

We are looking for people with: 

• Thorough understanding of MVC principles and JS design patterns 
• Strong NodeJS skills, with experience of working with backend frameworks like Express.js 
• Experience working on a large-scale software product involving NodeJS 
• Should be able to architect database schema to ensure complete design using MySQL & MongoDB 
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system. 
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. 
• Hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining AWS / Azure cloud-based applications 
• Exposure to GIT and standard versioning management tools 
• A drive to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
• The desire to use and contribute back to open-source 
• A keen eye for producing clean, semantic markup
