Job Description 

• As a senior back end Developer, you will be required to create back end platform and API services for various applications, devices and websites. 
• You will be required to work with front end developers to ensure API services are fast, secure and are tuned for target devices and platforms. 
•  You must have good technical coding skills to adapt to changing platform and technology. 

• You should have good understanding of designing applications using relational and non relational database. 
• Should have experience in porting application on clouds and maintaining them. 
• Should be able to work well both independently and with a team and perform well under tight deadlines. 

Skill Required  

• Architect and build highly scalable, available, and reliable solutions 
• Write clean, high - quality, high - performance, maintainable code in back-end programming language nodejs, javascript, java, python. 
• Understanding of application framework for various languages like express, Django, Spring Boot etc. 
• Substantial knowledge of RDBMS  (MySQL, Oracle), NoSQL(Mongo, Redis, CouchDB etc) including the use of SQL 
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 
• Good to know: Client-side frameworks: React, Websockets: sockjs, io, or similar 
• Understanding of 'session management' & “Security management” in a distributed server environment 
• Experience in maintaining and deploying application on server. 
• Experienced with building Web services using SOAP and REST JSON and XML, Asynchronous request handling 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 
• Ensuring high performance and security of web apps developed. 
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications 

Desired Candidate Profile 

• Good understanding of distributed systems and architecture, event driven architecture 
• Ability to understand project requirements accurately and be able to deliver projects on time 
• Keep up to date with advances in web technology 
• Have good business logic to understand requirements quickly 
• Be proactive and take leadership, initiative and responsibility as needed 
• Ability to set up and monitor distributed/horizontally scalable infrastructure 
• Ability to trouble shoot and find solutions to production issues quickly 
• Ability to communicate effectively on design decisions, production issues and the remedial actions to the technical and non-technical stakeholders 
• Ability to estimate effort and drive features to closure 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, and leadership skills 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 4+ years' experience in Backend development
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
