He must demonstrate strong web development skills, create scalable web apps and must be familiars with popular frameworks.
Job Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge for CodeIgniter, Laravel, Zend, Opencart, Cake PHP etc.
Understand the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP.
Understand fundamental design principles behind scalable apps.
Proficient understanding of code versioning.
Implementation of strong APIs like SMS Panel, Payment Gateways.
