About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Creating and managing data APIs that plug into Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and RabbitMQ.
2. Building and maintaining the user product this includes authentication APIs, user management, and permission policies
3. Optimizing code constantly oand rapidly iterating through different feature plugins
4. Managing weekly deployments on AWS

Other requirements

1. Should have experience with Django - specifically APIs, authentication, authorization, and permission policies

2. Should be proficient with Git or a similar version control management system

3. Love working on figuring out solutions to logical problems

4. Should be extremely adaptable and can quickly iterate through changes and feature additions

5. Should have a proclivity for keeping your code organized and readable

6. Should appreciate the importance of hassle-free data flows

7. Should have previously worked with large-scale databases, data-flow pipelines, and data streaming tools

8. Should have had some experience working with React in the frontend

9. Should have previously deployed a large-scale web application using Docker and AWS

10. Should have some experience working with a CI tool

As a backend developer intern, you'll be helping plan, build, grow, and scale our flagship platform's backend infrastructure. You will have input into the product from an early stage and will be instrumental in its further design and implementation.
