About the internship

Selected intern's day to day responsibilities include:

1. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
2. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
4. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
6. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests

Other requirements

1. Anyone in Bangalore willing to travel to Bellandur to work

2. Proficient in Java, solid understanding of object-oriented programming

3. Skill for writing reusable Java libraries

4. Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java

5. Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

6. Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful

7. Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Play and Spark

8. Knack for writing clean, readable Java code

9. Experience with both external & embedded databases

10. Understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds

11. Proficient in code versioning tools, such as Git

12. Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle, continuous integration
