Desired Background

• You can design & implement scalable, resilient backend microservices
• You can implement reliable monitoring stack for your services
• You can setup & maintain the CI/CD pipelines for your services
• You are familiar with AWS cloud ecosystem
• You are familiar or open to learn the container & Kubernetes ecosystem
• You can plan, estimate, and own the deliveries of your project
• You can collaborate with the engineering and product teams to deliver the right strategic and tactical goals for the business
  
  

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience building backend microservices
• Experience working with managed cloud providers, such as AWS
• Experience building products on the JVM stack using either Java or Kotlin
• Experience with CI/CD stacks such as GoCD, Spinnaker
• Experience with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana
• Experience or familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Ability to choose the right algorithm, data-structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement
• Experience and understanding of SQL and noSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis or similar
• Experience working with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka
