Position Summary
The Banking and Treasury Associate is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management related to banking operations and treasury functions within the organization. This role involves managing cash flow, liquidity, financial risk, banking related compliances and relationships with financial institutions to optimize the organization's financial performance.
Job Responsibilities
· Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash flow to ensure liquidity needs are met.
· Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize cash resources.
· Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
· Negotiate banking services, fees, and terms.
· Evaluate and select banking partners to meet the organization's needs.
· Manage treasury operations such as investments, borrowings, and debt repayment.
· Optimize investment portfolio returns while managing risk exposure.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fund capital expenditures and strategic initiatives.
· Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts & Fund flow management.
· Analyse variances between actual and forecasted cash flows.
· Provide insights to support decision-making and resource allocation.
· Adhere to banking regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance to done on timely manner.
· Keep track of all covenants including financial, affirmative & negative covenants per the bank requirement
· Preparation & submission of stock statement
· Quarterly/half yearly submission of financials and preparation of CMA Data
· Assist auditor in stock audit/BG audit.
Must have Attributes.· Exposure to interaction with Nationalised, Private & Foreign banks.
· Knowledge of financial Ratios and financial projections key areas (NPV, payback back period, breakeven, DSCR, Activity ratios, profitability ratios, liquidity ratios etc.)
· Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements
· Excellent knowledge of cash flow & fund flow analysis
Desirable Attributes1. Working knowledge of financial ERP and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
2. Excellent collaboration, communication abilities and presentation skills.
3. Exposure to Multinational corporate environment
4. Excellent stakeholders’ management.
Education & Experience Attributes
· Graduation preferably with MBA/PGDBM (Banking & Finance)
· 2 to 5 years of total experience.
