BCP Analyst (Location: Mumbai, Pune)

Roels and Responsibilities:

Provides professional, specialized skills, including: business continuity planning, project management, problem analysis and resolution.

Participates in major project assignments to assist business partners in resolving business issues related to work area (business function) recovery planning and recovery plan development / enhancements. Capitalize on business opportunities to refine production processes to mitigate exposure during disruptions of service, and, possibly, improve day-to-day operation

Assist business units with but not limited to:

• Assessment of potential business impact (Business Impact Analysis)
• Definition of Critical, time-sensitive functions, Design, development, and documentation of work area (business function) business continuity plans
• Recommend recovery strategies and options, and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions. Coordinate business continuity plan exercises
• Develop schedules for training / awareness for business partner associates
• Coordinate development of business unit schedules for annual business continuity documentation maintenance and update, exercises, and independent review and validation
• Report the business continuity status of business units to senior management
• Provide expertise and support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs
• Evaluate the problems faced by employees in carrying out the work and has to discuss upon that
• Responsible to interact with experts in the field of business and knowing the growing challenges in the industry
• Responsible to train the employees as well so has to plan train programs to aware and alert the employees regarding the disastrous events
• Updated with all the gathered information about latest techniques to overcome arising challenges

Skills Required:

Following skills are required in a candidate to do the job of a business continuity Analyst:

• Excellent Observatory Skills: The person needs to have the observatory skills to identify the problem in the most accurate manner
• Interpersonal Skills: He or she needs to have exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain the harmonious relationship with the clients
• Communication Skills: The person needs to have excellent communication skills to understand the difficulties of the business body
• He or she must have the required positive attitude to overcome problems in a better way and an urge for achievement.
• 3-5 years’ experience in banking, business continuity and related fields
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates, Must be a leader and a productive team player
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
• Travel and off-hour on-call support required

Educational and Training Requirements

• Possessing a bachelor's degree with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar, kind of a role is mandatory.
• Any of the Certifications: Business Continuity Certified Auditor, (Disaster Recovery Institute) DRI Certified, ISO 22301
