The Role

We are seeking Spark Engineer (Big Data)

Responsibilities

Must Have

• Total experience around 4-8 years
• Exposure to Core Java, REST API Frameworks : JAX-RS/Jersey/Spring
• Expertise in Hadoop development
• Should have good experience in Spark, Hive
• Solid foundation in data structures and complex algorithms
• Transaction management and any RDBMS : MySQL/Oracle/DB2/Teradata/Postgres
• Strong math/Statistics Background
• Worked in projects under Agile/Scrum environment
• Worked in distributed/cross-functional teams
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Experience working with US teams
• Good communication skills
  

Nice To Have

• Have worked on a project/product in one or more of Cloud, Spark/Hadoop, Solr/Lucene/Elastic Search
• JPA/JDO/Hibernate
• Columnar databases like Redshift/HBASE
