Bilingual Translator jobs in Delhi at Central Institute of Educational Technology

The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET),a constituent of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is looking for suitable candidates to recruit for the following posts (Contractual) to work for the DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for School Education) project.

i. The posting will be at its headquarter located at New Delhi. The appointment is initially till March 2022, and likely to be extended, subject to the project continuity and satisfactory performance by the candidate. Following are the details about the selection criteria for each post:

Bilingual Translator (English to Hindi, Urdu and vice-versa) Number of posts – 02

Remuneration: 30,000/- (Consolidated)

A. Essential Qualifications (for English to Hindi and vice-versa) 1. Master’s Degree in Hindi from recognized University/ Institute with 55% marks or equivalent Grade 2. English as a subject at Graduation Level

Experience 1. At least 2 years of experience of working as a translator in educational projects at national/state level in the education sector.

2. Diploma/certificate in translation from a recognised Institute/ organisation 3. Proficiency in computer applications- word processing spreadsheet

Desirable: - M.Phil/ Ph.D - A degree in Education (M.Ed./M.A. Education) from a recognised University B. Essential Qualifications (for English to Urdu and vice-versa) 1. Master’s Degree in Urdu from recognized University/ Institute with 55% marks or equivalent Grade 2. English as a subject at Graduation Level

Experience 1. At least 2 years of experience of working as a translator in educational projects at national/state level in the education sector. 2. Diploma/certificate in translation from a recognised Institute/ organisation 3. Proficiency in computer typing

Desirable: - M.Phil/ Ph.D - A degree in Education (M.Ed./M.A. Education) from a recognised University

Age: Below 45 years

Central Institute of Educational Technology(CIET),a consitituent unit of NCERT, came into existence in the year 1984 with the merger of Center for Educational Technology and Department of Teaching Aids.CIET is a premiere national institute of educational technology.Its major aim is to promote utilization of educational technologies viz. radio,TV, films, Satellite communications and cyber media either separately or in combinations. The institute undertakes activities to widen educational opportunities, promote equity and improve quality of educational processes at school level.
