Job Description
Biomedical Engineer
Research, design, develop, and custom-modify artificial limbs, medical devices and products.
Providing technical support, when needed.
Keeping up-to-date service histories on all biomedical machines and equipment.
Training clinicians and other personnel on how to use biomedical machines and equipment, safely and effectively.
Researching new materials, technologies, and engineering aspects of biological processes and systems.
Writing reports and documents detailing protocols, policies, standards of use, maintenance, and repairs of biomedical equipment, machines, and software.
Install, maintain, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment
Assist R&D team in designing and developing automated Immunohematology test systems, MRI equipment, drug delivery equipment and other robotic surgical instruments.
Disseminating knowledge about the biomedical engineering field through writing, teaching, or consulting
Approves new equipment by conducting tests, ensuring adherence to codes and making modifications
Design equipment and devices, such as artificial internal organs, replacements for body parts, and machines for diagnosing medical problems.
