Aarohan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization working in the areas of Education and Livelihoods to improve the quality of living of the underserved.
Aarohan Foundation is seeded and driven by a group of IIT and IIM alumni, registered in November 2006 and has an advisory council of leading global executives with over 20 years of experience and expertise in the areas of sales and marketing, IT Outsourcing, Finance, Human resources, Project management, Training and development.
The vision of Aarohan Foundation is to facilitate inclusive growth and equal opportunities of livelihoods for all, especially the underserved sections of society.
Jeebika IT School, a vocational training centre of Aarohan Foundation was born in a tiny classroom, accommodating only 8 students in 2007. Now, it has a capacity of 230 students per annum, and striving for more. Currently,Aarohan Foundation carries SMART vocational training Program in Bhubaneswar in collaboration with TMF.
Tech Mahindra Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of Tech Mahindra Limited, a Mahindra Group Company. The Foundation set up in 2007, as a Section 25 Company (referred to as a Section 8 Company in the Companies Act, 2013),has been working tirelessly in the areas of education, employability and disability, with a keen focus on corporate volunteering.
It operates across twelve locations in India.
SMART is a model Vocational training programme for socio- economically disadvantaged youth, enabling them to actualize their potential in a career of their choice. The first batch of SMART started on 9th April 2013. Now the centre has completed 8 years of journey with SMART programme of TMF and we look forward to an enduring partnership for a long time. The various courses are taught under SMART program includes: Yuva English, Basic IT, WPR (Work Place Readiness),ITES-BPO, English Typing, Spoken Hindi, English Listening Skills.
Aarohan Foundation strives to place its student’s in good jobs after the training. After completion of the course our students have been working in various sectors like BPO, Hospitality, Hotel industries, Back Office Operation, Govt. Jobs, TV and Broadcasting, Automobiles etc.1.The more the Jobs you apply, the higher your chances of getting a job.
