RaddiConnect is a waste management/resource recovery social enterprise working with governments, brands, the informal sector, and consumers - to prevent as many resources as possible from getting wasted into landfills and oceans, by bringing it back into the economy to get reused, repurposed, or recycled.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on data maintenance about plastic waste management program in partnership with UNDP (United Nations Development Program),MCGM (The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai),and HUL (Hindustan Unilever Limited) daily in the required format and share it with concerned stakeholders, as required
2. Tie-up with citizens groups and establishments to create new sources of dry waste for recycling from the RaddiConnect material recovery facilities
3. Be up to date on waste segregation & material accepted and processes followed at material recovery facilities
4. Guide, assist, train and carry out training and awareness events/activities with bulk waste generators, housing societies, etc. to be equipped to start segregating waste to be either collected/purchased by the RaddiConnect team using old and new tools
5. Coordinate with other team members to ensure a smooth flow of recyclable waste to the center
6. Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused on that mission and the cause
7. Be open to carry out variation in scope of work as required by the new developments in the field
