About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Associate to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our upskilling courses to individual customers. You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to understand the needs of our target market, and you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and close deals.
Key responsibilities:
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Should be willing to make calls to cold and warm leads.
Successfully create a business from new and existing customer accounts.
Report and present Inside Sales progress and updates
Manage email and telephonic communication with prospective clients
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, industry trends, and competition.
Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team in planning campaigns
Ability to gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
· 0-6 months of experience in B2C sales, preferably in education technology or related industries
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers
· Self-motivated, results-driven, and a team player
· Familiarity with sales and marketing tools and technologies, such as CRM software, is a plus
