Job Summary Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media setting up meetings with potential clients. Responsibilities and Duties
Generating new leads from local market through field marketing
Follow up, negotiation and closure of sales deals
Lead generation by making physical cold calls, telephonic sales calls, exhibition visits, etc.
Attending client meetings and convince prospect leads
Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns.
Using the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications
Creating proposals and presentations
Understanding the product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager and coordination regarding new requirements
Keep in regular touch with prospects
Qualifications and Skills
A graduate/post graduate with 1+ year of experience as a Sales or Business Development Professional in IT Software industry only
The incumbent should have excellent communication skills – English, Hindi or with local language
Experience in selling ERP solutions will be an advantage
The person should have strong negotiation and convincing skills.
