Job Description:

Primary Purpose:

A highly dependable and dedicated Business Development Manager who would assist the organization to develop B2B and B2C business on an Innovative IT Service platform. Our proposition is completely new and unique and it is expected that the incumbent brings up fresh ideas and methods to rapidly grow the business.


Principle Responsibilities:
  • Complete ownership of database of customers in various categories, geographies and sizes. This includes organizing the database structure and updation on an ongoing basis
  • Developing the criteria for prospecting the potential customers and Establish the primary contacts. It also includes cold calls and walk-in visits
  • Developing the sales pitch, meeting the identified customers and making presentations
  • Understand the needs of customer and assess the core pain/problem areas.
  • Answering the queries and concerns and provide insight to the management for un-common or specific concerns
  • Develop the meetings, calling and events schedules and comply. Provide weekly summary of the progress made and flag the issues or challenges faced. Regularly follow-up on open calls and unfinished conversions
  • Engage with on-boarded customers and hand-hold them for at least 3 months / until customer is fully up to the speed and handed over to Operations
  • Monitoring the business volume from on-boarded customers and ensure that targeted revenues are generated throughout their engagement
  • Provide inputs to Operation teams based on feedbacks received from customers
  • Keep track of inquiries generated from other sources such as tele-marketing companies, external database and marketing platforms. Include potential inquiries in the database
  • Review the business development strategy and progress every month with management. The incumbent is expected to provide detailed report with relevant data and analysis
  • Attending relevant seminar, events, conference , business meeting etc wherever management deems fit to participate
  • Assist and provide necessary support to company’s own events, meetings and Sales Campaigns. Coordinate with vendor for such events. Escort the customers throughout the event
  • Generate quarterly sales forecast and associated action plans and provide cost estimation for non-routine items
  • Conduct Market research and identify new territories
  • Maintain good relationship with customers, distributors and channel partners
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams within the organization


Skills – Must have  
  • Excellent proven track record of working with stretched targets
  • Very good at written and verbal communication, Pleasing personality with positive attitude
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales Process and strategy
  • Quick learner, Self-motivated and keen to learn new technologies, trends and methods necessary for the function
  • Having good skills on MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
  • Good orator with rich vocabulary and confident public speaker
  • Go-getter and willing to travel at short notice
  • Effective tele-calling skills


Skills Good to have 
  • Review and provide analysis of strategy, offerings, pricings on an on-going basis
  • Identify strategic partnerships, new target markets and avenues, additions/modification in offerings
  • Ability to Multi-task and Prioritize.
