Job Description
  • 1) Carry out Business Development activities with respect to various programs and
  • courses offered by the Company through -
  • a) Sales & marketing activities
  • b) Developing long standing relationships with various educational institutions
  • 2) Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • 3) Seeking new opportunities to add value to prospective and existing clients -
  • a) Develop and establish tie ups and partnerships with various colleges, affiliated
  • bodies and such other educational institutions
  • b) Deepen the existing relationships of existing clients through various initiatives such
  • as increasing more number of products, cross selling of products, increasing target
  • student base within the particular educational institution.
  • c) Ensuring the quality of the services being offered is in line with the expected
  • benchmark through –
  • a. proactive monitoring of the quality of the services being offered
  • b. proactive feedback from the clients on the quality of services
  • d) Identify and execute new initiatives such as Skill Development Labs on an ongoing
  • basis.
  • 4) Identifying new areas for carrying out future expansion; and helping in nurturing new
  • business opportunities;
  • 5) Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social
  • media and carry out business development activities. Set up meetings with potential
  • clients and carry out business development activities.
  • 6) Achieving sales targets set for the region/ area managed
  • 7) Facilitating geographical expansion either through own centers of the Company or by
  • driving franchisees
  • 8) Conducting such activities required for sales and marketing activities such as –
  • a. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
  • b. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • c. Ensure the availability of marketing material for sales and demonstrations
  • d. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • e. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • f. Collaborate with team to achieve better results
  • g. Develop and execute marketing strategies and tactical plans
  • 9) Company may at any time, in its sole discretion, upon notice to you, alter or
  • otherwise modify these roles, responsibilities and duties.
