Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for Kolkata for a Business Development Executive - Technical Sales. The role entails developing and implementing sales strategies and market penetration plans to achieve sales targets and generate revenues for the assigned region. A successful candidate will be responsible for establishing relationships with customers, providing product information and technical support, and, ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves continuously monitoring market trends and competitor activities, re-strategizing sales plans when necessary. An ideal candidate would be able to manage the entire sales cycle.
Qualifications / Requirements:
~Bachelor's/Master’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, microbiology or similar.
~Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the life sciences industry.
~Strong technical understanding and experience in cell Biology / immunology / molecular biology / biotechnology.
~Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
~Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
~Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
~Fluency in English and Hindi.
~This job involves extensive field visits.
~Working knowledge of MS Office.
