Roles and Responsibilities• Business Development Manager
o Own a product line and manage the complete business for the product line
o Identify and partner with reputed brands as their preferred channel partners for government projects
o Procure and source the required products from associated partner brands
o Selling of the products to government contractors (leads provided)
o Operations and Supply Chain Management
▪ Managing operations to input the order into our and our partner’s system
▪ Ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of the products in close coordination with the logistics team
▪ Last mile fulfilment and coordination with delivery centres
o Accounting
▪ Profitability
▪ Balance order status and completion of order
▪ Bookkeeping
▪ Ensuring timely payments to creditors, from debtors
• Project Management
o Own a government project right from its inception (stage of award) till its completion
o Different products get consumed at different times during a project so it is important to be involved throughout the project
• People skills and relationship Management
o Build and maintain strong sustainable relationships with the following key stakeholders ▪ End Clients like government contractors and infrastructure companies
• Procurement team (Purchase managers, purchase heads)
• Leadership team (directors, owners, VPs)
▪ Government officials from CPWD, PWD etc.
▪ Brand partners (sourcing brands)
• Sales and marketing team (local, regional, and national sales managers)
Compensation• CTC INR 5 lakhs per annum o Fixed Compensation - Annual package of INR 3.6 - 4.1 lakhs
o Additional performance variable payable on a quarterly basis at the end of every quarter
• Phone and conveyance reimbursements for meetings (Cabs/Fuel)
