Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

  • As a business development manager, you'll need to:
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Generating leads to sales
  • Setting up meetings with the client
  • Understand the needs of your client and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' services and be able to advise others about them
  • Maintain and update CRM system with client information
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales ( insurance preferred )
  • Excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
  • Excellent verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of clients
  • Excellent Negotiation and Persuasion skills
  • Must have a conveyance of his own ( for meeting clients and site visits )
