Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with the hospital's goals and objectives. Identify growth opportunities, target markets, and key areas for expansion.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, patient needs, and competitor analysis. Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact the eye hospital's business.
Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation for the eye hospital. This may include exploring new patient referral channels, optimizing pricing strategies, negotiating contracts with insurance providers, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, referring physicians, and key stakeholders. Provide exceptional customer service, address concerns, and ensure a high level of satisfaction among patients and partners.
Professional Networking: Actively participate in industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to stay connected with industry professionals, build relationships, and promote the eye hospital's brand.
Community Outreach: Collaborate with community organizations, NGOs, local government bodies, and other stakeholders to identify and engage target communities. Build relationships and partnerships to promote the eye camp, raise awareness, and ensure maximum participation.
Logistics Management: Coordinate the logistics of the eye camp, including venue selection, transportation, equipment, and supplies. Ensure all necessary resources are available for conducting eye examinations, screenings, and treatments.
Patient Management: Develop processes for patient registration, triage, and management during the eye camp. Ensure a smooth flow of patients, maintain proper documentation, and prioritize cases based on urgency and severity of eye conditions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with local healthcare providers, community leaders, and volunteers to mobilize support for the eye camp. Communicate the purpose, objectives, and benefits of the eye camp to encourage their involvement and collaboration.
Partnerships and Sponsorships: Seek partnerships with local businesses, philanthropic organizations, and corporate sponsors to secure financial support or in-kind donations for the eye camp. Build relationships and negotiate agreements to ensure the necessary resources are available.
Evaluation and Reporting: Collect and analyze data on the eye camp's outcomes, including the number of patients served, types of eye conditions diagnosed, treatments provided, and any follow-up requirements. Prepare reports to evaluate the impact of the eye camp and share the findings with relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement based on feedback from patients, medical staff, and community partners. Use insights gained from each eye camp to refine processes, enhance the quality of services, and expand the reach of future camps.
Requirements:
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Candidates with any experience in the eye care industry will be given preference.
Previous experience in business development, sales, and marketing in a hospital or healthcare industry.
